ABSTRACT. In 2007, 480,000 PLN was designated for the “Stocking Polish Marine Areas” project, of which 440,2765.23 PLN was spent on stocking material. The number of sea trout smolts released was 1,067,111, of which 641,591 were released into the Vistula River basin, 415,520 into Pomeranian rivers, and 10,000 into the Oder River. Age class 2+ dominated the sea trout smolts. Additionally, 235,460 sea trout summer fry and 2,642,000 hatch were released. In total, 300,157 salmon smolts were released into the Vistula (124,926), Pomeranian rivers (155,231), and the Oder (20,000). Summer salmon fry (102,000) and whitefish fry (10,193) were released into the Reda River. Vimba stocking was also funded, and 126,920 individuals of spring fry 1+, 70,000 summer fry 0+, 249,258 fall fry 0+, and 7,612 2+ fry were released. Vimba were released into the Rega River, the tributaries of the central Oder River, and the tributaries of the upper Vistula River. The Vistula and Szczecin lagoons received 975.8 kg of eel fry.
