ATTEMPTS TO ESTABLISH THE YEAR IN WHICH THERE WAS STRONG PIKEPERCH (SANDER LUCIOPERCA (L.)) RECRUITMENT IN LAKE JEZIORAK BASED ON CATCH STATISTICS

ABSTRACT. The results of this study refer to the intense exploitation of the pikperch population in Lake Jeziorak. An attempt was made to use catch statistics to determine the year in which there was strong recruitment of this species. Fluctuations in pikeperch catches were typical both overall and for particular fishing gear. The efficiency of gear and the share of these used to make pikeperch catches were determined.
