ABSTRACT. The paper presents the mean wholesale price of commercial fish and the mean price of stocking material used in 2015 by fisheries enterprises operating in fisheries district waters –lakes, rivers, and dam reservoirs. Prices were calculated based on information obtained from questoinnaires completed by 63 enterprises utilizing close to 295,000 ha of waters comprising fisheries districts. Next, the mean prices of commercial fish and stocking material were compared with those of 2013. The mean wholesale price of commercial fish from 2015 compared with that of studies conducted in 2013 indicated that the prices of nearly all the species analyzed increased. The exception was so-called small non-commercial fish and small perch. The greatest price increase was for European smelt at almost 57%. Furthermore, the price of small bream increased by more than 20%. Increases of more than 10% were noted for medium whitefish, vendace, bream, and white bream, while increases of more than 5% were noted for pikeperch and medium and small roach. Decreases in the prices of small perch did not exceed 1%; however, a decrease was noted in the price of small non-commercial fish (nealry 32%). In comparison to the 2013 prices of 25 forms of stocking material analyzed, prices rose for ten of them in 2015, while prices decreased for 15.
